Your bespoke Employee Benefits program can include any of the following insurances:

SALARY CONTINUANCE OR INCOME PROTECTION

This benefit replaces an employee's income if they are unable to work due to an injury or illness. The disablement does not need to be work related and employees are generally covered 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, worldwide. Cover can be customised by changing the Waiting Period or Benefit Period or by adding additional benefits such as lump sum cover for major medical events like cancer and these changes have the effect of dialing the premiums up or down. Salary Continuance Insurance is one of the most popular Employee Benefits which is due not only to the value it provides, but also the favourable taxation treatment it receives.

DEATH AND TOTAL PERMANENT DISABLEMENT INSURANCE

This lump sum benefit is paid in the event an employee dies or is unlikely to ever work again. While most employees have this cover within superannuation, a stand alone corporate plan is the only way to provide consistent cover to all employees under a Choice of Fund environment. Furthermore, very few people have enough cover to meet their financial needs in the event of death or permanent disablement. Providing cover on behalf of your employees can go a long way to ensuring their family gets the financial security they need. Cover can be held inside or outside super which alters the taxation treatment of the benefit.

CORPORATE HEALTH OR MEDICAL INSURANCE

Hospital and/or Extras cover can be taken out on behalf of your employees and their families. This can be fully or partially funded and can also be made available for staff to purchase themselves on a discounted basis. This benefit usually rates highly in terms of employee value and is also common as a benefit for global businesses.

If you're employing people from overseas on a 457 visa then you'll need medical insurance for them if they're not eligible for Medicare and this can be arranged on a discounted group basis.

ACCIDENT & SICKNESS INSURANCE

Similar to Salary Continuance Insurance this product provides income replacement and can also include lump sum benefits and other ancillaries. This product is often required under an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) and our specialist team can assist with placement of these benefits to ensure you meet your EBA obligations in the most cost effective way.

EMPLOYEE WELLNESS PROGRAMS

Some insurers are starting to invest in prevention and now offer wellness programs either as a feature of their policy or as a separate product. We can identify solutions that include these options to enhance the value of your benefits program and foster a healthy, happy and productive workforce.
